Cecile may have betrayed Schneizel, but I'm not sure she really knew what she was doing: she and Lloyd were pretty confused the whole time. I think they returned to the momeland homeland after the Second Battle of Tokyo and were sort of drafted into Lelouch's service; Schneizel had run off to Cambodia, anyway. It wasn't a real betrayal, so there were plenty of opportunities for a make-up session with Schneizel and Kanon~ /can justify ANYTHING
